Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher – Post-Practice – September 21, 2012
(On how practice went this week)
“Everyone had a good week of practice and they’re excited to take a business trip.”
(On T Wayne Hunter’s status)
“He practiced. He’ll be questionable for the game.”
(On RB Steven Jackson’s status)
“Jackson did not practice. He’ll be questionable for the game.”
(On if he feels good about the rookie running backs)
“I have no concern what so ever about all three of them. Like I mentioned yesterday, they’re ready to play if ‘Jack’ (Steven Jackson) can’t play. It’s been a while since I potentially went into a game with three rookies at the running back position.”
(On if he ever went into a game with three rookie running backs)
“Not that I can remember.”
(On if he can remember when any team has gone into a game with three rookie running backs)
“No. They’ll be fresh, that’s for sure.”
(On if he is anxious to see RB Terrance Ganaway play on Sunday)
“Yes. If he gets in, he’ll do well. We watched a lot of college tape. He’s a really smart, young man. Got ball security and he’s a good size and he’s got good running sense.”
(On if S Darian Stewart has a chance to play with S Matt Daniels injured)
“Matt will be out for the game. So with that being said, yes, Stewart has a chance to be able to take his place on special teams.”
(On if Stewart got behind in his battle with S Craig Dahl because of the time he missed during training camp)
“That was the case, yes. There was too much practice time and game time missed.”
(On if Stewart can make up for his time missed during the season)
“Well, there’s a chance that he could also come in and play a series or two. Now that he’s healthy, there’s obviously that chance.”
